Shattered Wings

Swallow the truth,
It'll help the burn go down,
These burdens are gifts to bear,
Spit out and cut from shattered wings,
Hollow words will not fill this heart,
(This mind)
Anymore.

Painted silhouettes,
Lives blackened by unfocused sight,
Guided by ignorant indulgences of flesh,
Vessels fallen from the intentions of nature's core,
(And yet the stars burn bright).

Breaking boxes of conditions placed upon unguarded thoughts,
Dance with the creativity of life from within,
In silence worlds open,
(Enlighten and soften the edges again)
As new beginnings emerge from paradoxical ends,
Eternity listens.
